Jim Chapman
"A dear friend and true gentleman!"
We got high with Jim!
Oh, not what you are thinking!
We were 13,000 feet up on a treacherous Rocky Mountain mining trail in Colorado with Jim driving his jeep, 4-5 inches from slipping to oblivion off of the road during the annual Chapman family jaunt.
To say that we would bet our lives on Jim Chapman would be a chiché but true. We actually did!
Jim loved life and Bobbie.
And we loved him,
Charles and Sandy Lee

When I think of Jim, I think of a kind, caring, gentle, quiet man who could cook delicious meals and write beautiful words of love to Bobbie.

Although it has been over thirty years when I last met Jim in Alamosa, I always regarded him as a friend along with Bobbie and Beth. I was so sorry to hear about his sudden passing that when I did I cried. Jim was a great man who had the Lord in his heart. He affected many people in a positive way and the brief time I spent with him and his family has always been special to me. Know that Jim is in God's grace now and that he really loved his family very very much. Jim and his family are in our prayers.

I never met Jim, but from what I read of Bobbie’s posts on Facebook, he sounded like a wonderful man. I am so very sorry to hear of Bobbie’s and the family’s loss. Bobbie, I have been thinking of you often and hoping that you are managing OK. I hope you know I am quite fond of you.

We are so very sorry to lose our dear friend! We have such wonderful memories of meeting and spending weeks at Betty’s Rv park. We hit it off with Jim and Bobbie and have seen them and shared a meal every time we are in Phoenix. So happy we saw you both in November and had a nice visit. Hugs and love to you, Bobbie, and may God comfort you with beautiful memories. Prayers continue as you journey these difficult days. You are loved.
